I’ve been on a mission to discover ways to make money online from writing. I tried freelancing sites like Upwork and Fiverr but was not satisfied with the results and rates. The websites are saturated with writers, making it difficult to stand out. In addition, many offer low prices that don’t even cover their time costs.
Some offer low prices, from $5 for a 1000 words article. I knew this was ridiculous, and I was not willing to do this until I discovered this website that pays writers $100 for 1 article!
I was totally stunned!
I thought to myself, “Maybe my dream of making money from writing can turn into reality.” So I did some research and found out that this website pays writers for quality articles. And the best part is, they pay well!
The website is called Listverse. They specialize in top 10 lists and accept articles from various topics.
In my head. “Wow, this is easy money!” So I started writing as soon as possible. When I was finished, It was now time for me to submit it.
My head burst when I saw the guidelines and what they were looking for. It was so detailed and long. I thought to myself, “This is going to take time.”
They had so many rules, almost like something out of a contract. I had to ensure that every article met its standards before submitting it.
I read through the guidelines again and followed them as best I could. After submitting my article, I waited for an answer, but nothing happened for days! Disappointed, I wrote off my dream of making money from writing.
Until I got a reply from them, my article was unfortunately rejected. Then, they suggested I improve my article and try again.
I decided to take their advice, so I spent time improving my article. Finally, I rewrote it entirely, emphasizing quality and detail. I am yet to submit it, but I just felt the need to write this article in hopes that it might inspire other writers and show them that making money online through writing is still possible, even in such a saturated market.
